This Act establishes a Delaware Transit Corridor Housing Program, administered by the Delaware State Housing Authority in coordination with DelDOT, to provide grants and low-interest loans for mixed-income workforce housing located near rail stations and major fixed-route transit corridors. Participating municipalities may receive infrastructure assistance for adopting predictable, time-limited reviews and objective zoning standards for responsible residential development, while projects receiving state support must reserve a defined share of units for households earning within specified workforce-income ranges and maintain affordability for at least 30 years.
