A bill to strengthen federal civil rights protections for Native Americans by directing the Departments of Justice, Health and Human Services, and Education to improve investigation and enforcement of discrimination complaints in healthcare, education, housing, and public accommodations; requiring clear, culturally competent complaint processes and annual reporting to Congress; expanding grant support for tribal legal aid and civil rights outreach; and affirming that nothing in this Act shall be construed to diminish tribal sovereignty, treaty rights, or the authority of tribal governments to administer their own laws and services consistent with federal law.
