Full text

This bill would expand age-based catch-up contribution limits for low- and middle-income workers in employer-sponsored retirement plans and allow employers to offer voluntary phased-retirement arrangements with flexible hours and continued benefits. It would permit workers who claim Social Security after reaching full retirement age to earn employment income without reducing their benefits, while directing the Social Security Administration to provide clear, advance estimates of how work and claiming decisions affect benefits. The bill would preserve existing eligibility rules and prohibit employers from conditioning continued employment on delayed retirement.
