A bill to direct the Department of Agriculture, Department of Energy, and Department of Transportation to expand domestic production capacity for fertilizer and other critical farm inputs through targeted grants, streamlined permitting for qualifying facilities, and workforce support; to prioritize rail, barge, and truck freight coordination for agricultural inputs and harvested commodities during peak seasons to reduce transport bottlenecks; and to require quarterly public reporting to Congress on fertilizer, diesel, feed, and crop-input price trends and their effects on food and fuel inflation, with recommendations to improve supply stability and lower costs for producers and consumers.
