To improve national security and restore confidence in the lawful immigration system, this bill directs the Department of Homeland Security, in coordination with the Department of State, the Department of Justice, and the intelligence community, to expand real-time intelligence-sharing for visa screening, border encounters, and immigration benefit adjudications; require updated interagency counterterrorism and transnational criminal threat checks for high-risk applicants and entrants; strengthen identity verification and fraud detection standards at ports of entry; and provide regular reporting to Congress on implementation, civil liberties safeguards, and measurable impacts on processing integrity and border security.
