Hello, Cedar Rapids! It’s great to be here with you tonight in a community that truly represents the backbone of America. Here in Iowa, where agriculture is king and rural communities keep our country moving forward, you know the importance of hard work, family, and tradition.
Iowa feeds not just our nation but the world. And I want to thank each and every one of you who work the land, run family farms, and contribute to the agricultural powerhouse that is Iowa. You are the heartbeat of America, and it’s time our government remembered that.
For too long, rural America has been ignored. Washington elites think they know what’s best for you, but they’ve never stepped foot on your farms. They don’t understand the struggles you face—the unpredictable markets, the rising costs of doing business, or the challenges of keeping family farms afloat. As President, I’ll fight for policies that lift up rural communities, because when rural America thrives, all of America thrives.
We need to ensure fair trade agreements that protect our farmers, not put them at a disadvantage. We need to cut the red tape and regulations that are strangling our small businesses and farms. And we need to invest in infrastructure—roads, broadband, and services—that make it possible for our rural communities to grow and prosper.
But this campaign isn’t just about agriculture. It’s about bringing our country together. There’s been too much division, too much focus on what separates us instead of what unites us. I believe in an America where we respect each other, work together, and solve problems—just like you do here in Iowa.
I believe in a government that serves the people, not the other way around. We need to return to constitutional governance, where the rule of law matters and where power is returned to the states and local communities, where it belongs. That’s how we build a stronger, more unified America.
So, Cedar Rapids, I’m asking you to join me in this fight. Let’s bring real leadership back to Washington, leadership that understands the values of faith, family, and freedom. Leadership that doesn’t forget about rural America, but celebrates and supports it.
Thank you for your support, thank you for your hard work, and God bless you all. Let’s take this fight all the way to the White House!
