Good evening, everyone. Thank you for joining us tonight and for your incredible support. It is truly inspiring to see so many of you here, and it reminds me of why we’re fighting this fight—for a better Missouri, for a fairer future, and for the promise that every Missourian deserves a chance to thrive.
Before I go any further, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our hosts and everyone who helped make tonight possible. Your generosity and commitment mean more than I can express. You are the backbone of this campaign, and it's because of supporters like you that I know we can make real change happen.
As many of you know, my journey has been deeply rooted in healthcare. For years, I’ve been on the front lines, advocating for women’s health, fighting for access to affordable care, and ensuring that every person, regardless of where they live or how much they earn, can see a doctor when they need one. But this campaign is about so much more than just healthcare. It’s about building a future where our economy works for all of us, where our schools are strong, and where every community has the opportunity to prosper.
Now, I know we’re here tonight to raise the funds we need to win this race. But I want to talk about what your support truly represents. This isn’t just about dollars and cents; it’s about people—families in St. Louis, in Kansas City, in our small towns, and on our farms. It’s about standing up for the values we share and ensuring that our government reflects the needs of everyone in our state.
We know that this election is critical. Missouri has a choice to make: continue down a path where division and partisanship prevent us from solving real problems, or come together to build a future that works for everyone. That’s what this campaign is about—putting aside the noise and focusing on the issues that matter to the hardworking people of Missouri.
Healthcare is at the heart of that vision. When I talk about expanding access to affordable healthcare, I’m not just talking about an abstract policy idea. I’m talking about our neighbors, our friends, and our families. I’m talking about the mother who works two jobs and still can’t afford to fill her prescriptions. I’m talking about the farmer who worries that the nearest hospital might close its doors. I’m talking about the young woman driving across state lines because she can’t get the care she needs here at home.
We can change that. We can protect and expand healthcare for all Missourians, lower the cost of prescription drugs, and invest in our public health system. But to do that, we need the resources to spread our message, to reach voters in every corner of this state, and to push back against those who say it can’t be done.
Your support tonight is a step toward making that vision a reality. It allows us to take our message to every town and every city, to knock on doors, to listen to people’s stories, and to show that we are building a campaign that fights for them. Because this isn’t about me—it’s about us. It’s about what we can accomplish together when we refuse to let division define us.
We’re also fighting for an economy that lifts everyone up. I’ve seen the toll that economic uncertainty takes on our families. I’ve talked to small business owners who want to grow but are held back by lack of support. I’ve listened to workers who feel left behind. And I believe that we can build an economy that works for everyone, not just the wealthy few.
That means investing in infrastructure, in education, in local businesses. It means raising the minimum wage so that no one working full-time has to live in poverty. It means ensuring that everyone, no matter their background, has a fair shot at success. And yes, it means protecting a woman’s right to make decisions about her own body—a right that is fundamental to economic security and equality.
I’m not naive about the challenges we face. We know that well-funded special interests will fight tooth and nail to keep things the way they are. They want us to believe that our voices don’t matter, that change is impossible. But I know better. I know that when people come together, when we support one another, we can overcome anything.
So tonight, I’m asking you to not just donate to a campaign—I’m asking you to invest in the future of Missouri. I’m asking you to help us build a movement that reaches every part of this state, that listens to every voice, and that fights for a Missouri where all of us can succeed.
With your help, we can make this happen. We can bring healthcare to those who need it, create jobs in our communities, and protect the rights of every Missourian. We can turn this vision into reality, but we cannot do it alone. We need your passion, your commitment, and yes, your contributions, to power this campaign forward.
Thank you for standing with me, thank you for believing in what we can achieve together, and thank you for investing in a future that we can all be proud of. Together, we will win this race, and together, we will build the Missouri that we know is possible.
Let's get to work.
Thank you.
