Good evening, St. Louis!
Thank you all so much for being here tonight. It’s incredible to see so many familiar faces, and so many new ones, coming together to support this campaign. Tonight isn’t just about raising funds—it’s about building a movement. A movement for change, for justice, and for the future of Missouri.
Before I begin, I want to take a moment to thank our generous hosts and everyone who helped make tonight possible. Your contributions—whether it’s your time, your donations, or your voices—are what will fuel this campaign and carry us to victory.
I am running for the United States Senate because I believe Missouri deserves a leader who fights for all of us. A leader who understands the struggles our families face every single day—the rising cost of healthcare, the threat to women’s rights, and the economic inequality that holds too many of us back.
I’ve spent my entire career fighting for healthcare. As many of you know, my passion for this fight comes from my experience as a public health advocate and a mother. I've worked in clinics, hospitals, and community centers across this state, and I’ve seen firsthand the challenges that families face when it comes to accessing basic healthcare. I’ve watched mothers delay treatment because they couldn’t afford it. I’ve seen young women travel hours just to get the care they need, uncertain if it will be available when they arrive.
This isn’t just a policy issue for me—it’s personal. It’s personal for the thousands of women in Missouri who are worried about losing their right to make decisions about their own bodies. It’s personal for the families who are struggling to pay for prescriptions, for the rural communities watching their hospitals shut down, and for every single person who has ever had to choose between seeing a doctor and paying their bills.
That is why I am running. Because I believe that healthcare is a right, not a privilege.
We are at a critical moment in our nation’s history. Women’s rights are under attack like never before, and nowhere is that more true than right here in Missouri. Over the last few years, we’ve seen some of the most extreme legislation in the country aimed at stripping away a woman’s right to choose. We cannot, and we will not, go back.
But friends, this campaign isn’t just about reproductive rights—although that is a fight we must win. It’s about ensuring that all Missourians have access to the healthcare they deserve, regardless of where they live or how much money they make. It’s about expanding Medicaid, strengthening our public health systems, and making sure that no one is left behind.
And that’s just the beginning. We need bold leadership to tackle the economic disparities that are tearing our communities apart. We need policies that lift up working families, not just the wealthy and well-connected. We need to raise wages, improve education, and invest in the future of Missouri’s workers.
We need to build a Missouri that works for everyone—a Missouri where small businesses can thrive, where rural communities can rebuild, and where every child has the opportunity to succeed. But to make that vision a reality, I need your help.
Tonight, we are taking an important step forward, but there is a long road ahead of us. Campaigns like ours are powered by people—by small donations, by volunteers, by community members who are ready to see real change. Every dollar you give, every phone call you make, every conversation you have with a neighbor—it all matters. It all moves us closer to the Missouri we know is possible.
I know what we’re up against. We’re going to face well-funded opposition. We’re going to hear from those who think that women should sit down and stay quiet about their rights. But let me tell you something—I’ve never been one to sit down, and I’ve never been one to stay quiet.
I am ready for this fight, and I know that together, we can win. Together, we can protect women’s rights, expand healthcare, and create a more just and equitable Missouri for all of us.
So tonight, I’m asking you to dig deep—not just into your pockets, but into your hearts. Help us build this campaign, spread our message, and fight for the future we believe in. This is our moment, St. Louis. This is our time to stand up for what’s right.
Thank you for your generosity, your support, and your faith in this campaign. I’m proud to stand alongside you in this fight, and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together.
Let’s get to work!
Thank you, and have a wonderful evening!
