GARY, IN - Rock musician, songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist Darius Novak is announcing a break from touring for the first half of May in order to focus on self-improvement, learning, and songwriting. His goal is to use this time to improve his craft, check his health, and dig deep in preparation for his next songs.

He issued the following statement:

I’m taking some time to work on myself. I need some time to rest from all the travel. I need some time to work through some improvements in my abilities too. I want the next songs and the next tour to be the biggest yet.

I’ll still be around, so I don’t want fans to worry. I promise the wait will be worth it. I’m still working behind the scenes to make sure the shows you guys get are worth your time, attention, and cash. I’m not doing it for the money. This is about the love of the game. I love to see and feel improvement, and I love it when everyone can have a good time with me.

I’ll also be using this time to catch up on rest and make sure I’m healthy and ready for the next round of shows. I also want to really dig deep and work hard on these next songs I have cooking. Like I said, I want the next tour to be the biggest yet, so I’m working on making that happen in every way.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone back on the road again! In the meantime, stay safe, and keep rocking.
