I am grateful to announce that I have accepted the position of Defensive Coordinator for the Denver Summit.

I'd like to thank Owner Lila Grant, the Denver organization, and everyone involved in the hiring process for their confidence in me. From our first conversations, it was clear this organization is committed to building something the right way—with high standards, accountability, and a long-term vision for success. Those are values I've believed in throughout my career.

I've been fortunate to spend more than thirty years coaching football, including seventeen seasons in the NFL. Every stop has reinforced the same lesson: winning begins with preparation. Talent matters, but discipline, communication, and trust are what sustain successful teams over the course of a season.

The Denver Summit represents a new chapter, not just for me, but for an expansion franchise with the opportunity to establish its identity from day one. That's a challenge I embrace. There are no shortcuts to building a great defense, but there is a process, and I look forward to helping our players improve every day.

To our players, know this: my expectations will be high because I believe in your potential. My responsibility is to put you in position to succeed, teach the details that win football games, and earn your trust through consistent coaching.

To the Denver fans, thank you for welcoming me. Expansion teams have a unique opportunity to build a culture together with their community, and I'm excited to be part of that journey.
