State Legislature to Consider Democratic Bill
Governor Harvey Barker has announced that he is bringing the Texas Veterans’ Spinal and Orthopedic Rural Access Act up for debate in the combined state legislature. The bill is sponsored by a Democratic representative Elizabeth Hayes. Barker noted that he is committed to bipartisan solutions to the problems facing everyday Americans.
The Texas Veterans’ Spinal and Orthopedic Rural Access Act aims to create a grant program to improve access to specialized spinal and orthopedic care for veterans in rural areas and establish a telehealth network for better service delivery.
