Senator Nathan Landberger Announces Presidential Campaign, Challenging President Paul Garrett

2/3/2026, 9:28:47 PM · Nathan Landberger · Issue: Democracy

WASHINGTON, D.C. — February 3, 2028 — U.S. Senator Nathan Landberger of Pennsylvania today announced that he is running for President of the United States, launching a campaign to challenge incumbent Republican President Paul Garrett and present voters with a clear choice for the nation’s future.

Landberger, elected to the Senate on a platform centered on healthcare, accountability, and restoring public trust, enters the race with growing national support and a message focused on results over rhetoric. His campaign will prioritize healthcare access, ethical government, economic security for working families, and rebuilding confidence in American institutions.

“This country doesn’t need more excuses or more insiders protecting a broken system,” Landberger said. “It needs leadership that shows up, tells the truth, and puts people ahead of power. I’m running for president because Americans deserve a government that works for them again.”

Before his election to the Senate, Landberger served as a Navy helicopter pilot, a federal special prosecutor, and a member of the Pennsylvania State Assembly. He has built a reputation for discipline, directness, and a willingness to challenge entrenched interests when public trust is at stake.

Landberger contrasted his vision with the Garrett administration, arguing that the country needs steadier leadership focused on outcomes rather than division.

“My life has been shaped by service in places where accountability mattered and decisions had consequences,” Landberger said. “That perspective is missing at the highest levels of government. This campaign is about restoring responsibility, protecting families, and ensuring the presidency serves the public.”

The campaign said it will immediately begin organizing nationwide, with an emphasis on early states and broad outreach across urban, suburban, and rural communities.
