After more than 35 years coaching football and the last 18 seasons in the NFL, I have decided to pursue the next chapter of my career by seeking a head coaching opportunity in the Dynamic Football League.

Like many coaches across professional football, I was affected by the recent restructuring that followed the NFL's financial challenges. It's never easy to see colleagues and friends lose positions they dedicated their lives to, and while I'm disappointed my time there ended the way it did, I leave with tremendous gratitude for every player, coach, and organization that trusted me over the years.

For a long time, I hoped the opportunity to become an NFL head coach would come. It didn't, and that's part of this profession. Rather than dwell on what might have been, I'm choosing to focus on what lies ahead.

I've watched the DFL grow into one of the most exciting organizations in professional football. The investment being made in the league, the passion of its fans, and the commitment to building something sustainable and competitive have been impossible to ignore. I believe the DFL has an incredibly bright future, and I'd be honored to help shape it.

My philosophy has never changed. Winning begins long before kickoff. It starts with accountability, preparation, discipline, and treating people the right way. My goal is to build a culture where players develop, coaches thrive, and championships become the expectation rather than the exception.

To every organization considering me, I promise the same work ethic that has guided my entire career. I may be new to the DFL, but I'm not new to building football teams.

I'm excited for this opportunity and look forward to earning the chance to lead.
