The Norfolk Admirals defeated the Richmond Capitols to secure the Season 4 DFL championship. This is Norfolk's second championship in the DFL's first four seasons, having previously won Season 1 as well. Season 4 is the final season that the DFL remains just Virginia-based teams. Beginning with Season 5, new teams are being added to the league from Louisville, Memphis, Tampa Bay, and Washington DC.
