SS Holding Corp is planning a Clay Electric community open house in Gainesville, with the company describing it as a chance for area residents to meet staff, learn about career paths and hear how the business fits into its local plans.

Key logistics remain unsettled. Soitchy, the founder of Gainesville-based SS Holding Corp, said the date, time and location have not been finalized and that the company will not release them until they are confirmed. He said Gainesville-area residents will be welcome and that details will be shared through Local News and the company’s own announcements.

That leaves residents interested in attending without a calendar date or registration information for now. The company has not said whether advance registration will be required.

Soitchy said the open house is intended to offer direct conversations with Clay Electric employees about the work they do, the skills that matter in their day-to-day roles and possible career paths at a growing local company. He said he could not provide information about specific job openings and did not want to speculate about hiring.

“For residents who are curious about work in energy, the event is meant to be an opportunity to hear from people doing that work,” Soitchy said in an interview with Local News. He described the planned conversations as straightforward and informal, rather than scripted presentations.

The event is also expected to address questions beyond employment. Soitchy said attendees will be able to learn how Clay Electric fits into SS Holding Corp’s broader work in Gainesville and how to reach the company with questions. SS Holding Corp is based in Gainesville and has identified Clay Electric as part of its local business portfolio.

Soitchy framed the open house as an early step in building a local presence, saying the company wants to show up in the community and develop careers in Gainesville. He said the company is focused on growing locally first and that any future announcements would be made only when they are ready to be confirmed.

The company has characterized the planned gathering as welcoming to the community, but it has not finalized activities, resources or other programming for families and other attendees. Soitchy said he did not want to promise specific features before the program is set.

For Gainesville residents, the open house could provide a direct opportunity to ask practical questions about the company, its local operations and energy-related career interests. But the usefulness of that opportunity will depend on the final schedule, location and scope of the program, all of which are still to be announced.

Until then, residents can expect further information from SS Holding Corp and Local News once the event plans are locked in.
