GLASSBORO, N.J. — Glassboro’s Rowan Run Boardwalk recorded seven consecutive record-crowd days as an unusually mild, pleasant fall stretch sent residents and visitors outdoors for walks, food and waterfront gatherings. Attendance on the boardwalk rose 96% during the run, according to local organizers tracking activity at the promenade.

The crowds filled the boardwalk’s seating areas and drew steady lines at vendors along the route. Cassius Castellano, a downtown vendor, said the sustained foot traffic brought customers through much of the day rather than only during the usual busiest periods.

Local businesses reported a 25% increase in revenue during the weather-driven surge. The seven-day streak gave shops and vendors a welcome boost as the boardwalk became a central gathering place for the town’s outdoor crowds.
