An estimated 502 people filled downtown Tiffin for the 24th annual Glass & Brick Art Walk, visiting 42 vendor booths set up along the district’s storefronts and sidewalks. Participating artists sold paintings, prints, jewelry, ceramics and other handmade work as visitors moved between displays.
Nadia Fontaine, a participating artist, presented a collection of mixed-media pieces during the walk. Event organizer Delphine Whitcombe said the turnout brought steady foot traffic to artists’ tables and downtown businesses throughout the event.
The annual walk is intended to give local makers a public place to show and sell their work while drawing residents into the downtown district. This year’s attendance estimate marked a strong community showing for the long-running event.
