Ray’s Corner has announced that it has completed a full remodel, describing the work as an update designed to preserve the establishment’s longstanding bar atmosphere.
In a press release dated Aug. 28, the business said it had been “fully remodeled” while retaining “the old bar charm” associated with Ray’s Corner. The announcement did not provide details on the scope of construction, the cost of the project, or the specific changes made to the venue.
The business is encouraging customers to visit for after-work drinks, positioning the refreshed location as a familiar gathering place following the renovation.
The announcement comes amid broader attention to small-business activity and local economic development. Earlier this month, a separate release from Representative Star Showman outlined a proposed strategy focused on small-business growth and capital access in Ohio, though Ray’s Corner did not link its renovation to that proposal or to any public program.
No reopening date, operating hours, employment changes, or planned events were included in the release. Ray’s Corner also did not say whether the remodel involved changes to its food, beverage, entertainment, or service offerings.
For customers, the message from the business is straightforward: the space has been updated, but management says it intends to maintain the character that regular patrons associate with the bar.
