Since taking office as President, I have worked with Congressional Republicans to enact the People First Agenda. Together, we made the Trump tax cuts permanent, eliminated taxes on tips, expanded the Child Tax Credit and Earned Income Tax Credit, raised the minimum wage to $14 an hour, protected American workers with E-Verify, and broke up hospital monopolies to lower healthcare costs. The economic impact of the People First Agenda has been profound: Wage growth has increased from 2.5% to 7.5% on an annual basis with the average American household saving almost $4,000 a year from tax cuts, credits, and rebates. The increased demand in our economy is expected to boost consumer spending by an estimated $1 trillion over the next ten years – leading to the creation of a million new jobs for American workers. 

The next step of the People First Agenda is to tackle housing. Housing is one of the fundamental building blocks of society. It’s necessary in order to live, but it is taking up a larger chunk of household budgets than ever before. Today, I am outlining a bold plan to make housing more affordable for all Americans. 

Any plan to tackle the cost of housing must start by making homeownership more affordable and accessible. When people think of the American Dream, they often think of owning a home. Unfortunately, home ownership has become out of reach for millions of Americans. This is in large part because three giant multi-national corporations – Blackrock, State Street and Vanguard – are buying up housing stock in cash and pricing normal people out of the market. You’ve probably all the heard the stories about you or someone you know getting ready to close on a house and suddenly, some random LLC owned by one of these big banks makes a cash offer and takes the house. These three corporations are on track to own a majority of U.S. single-family homes within the next few years. You and your family cannot compete with these corporations. 

That is about to change. First of all, we’re going to change the tax and legal code so that Blackrock and other banks can’t keep doing this. Second of all, we’re going to co-sign mortgages at low interest rates for first-time home-buyers. Almost half of all young, first-time home-buyers have help from their family – either a cash gift or co-signing the mortgage to get a lower rate. But not everyone has rich parents or an uncle with a great credit score to fall back on. But that’s okay. I’ll be that uncle with a high credit score. We’re going to co-sign that mortgage with a guaranteed 3% mortgage rate for first-time qualifying homebuyers that will lower the cost of mortgages by thousands of dollars a month and put normal Americans on a level playing field with everyone else. First-time homebuyers with children will be prioritized for these mortgage rates – especially individuals employed in critical sectors such as teachers, nurses and first responders. We turn around and finance these mortgages by selling tax-free bonds so that we don’t add to the national debt. Not only will these new policies make housing more affordable, they will also make it more accessible by encouraging developers to build new homes. We will further encourage that demand by offering tax credits to developers building affordable housing units. 

In addition to making homeownership more affordable, we will also make renting more affordable. Sometimes in life, renting is the best short-term option, and we want to support renters. Many of the issues in the rental market will be resolved by encouraging developers to build more housing stock by increasing demand with lower mortgages and tax incentives. We will provide further tax incentives to develop affordable multi-family rental units. We will also expand Housing Choice Voucher programs to assist cost-burdened renters.

This is a bold plan to change the U.S. housing market as we know it. America is not simply an economic zone to be pilfered by multi-national banks and wealthy elites. America is the greatest nation on Earth with the greatest people on Earth – and those people deserve a shot at owning their own piece of the American Dream.

Phillip Wheeler is a good friend of mine and someone I personally recruited into this race. He is the definition of a People First Champion. He has dedicated his career as a lawyer to advocating for miners with black lung disease – taking on the coal companies and making sure that our miners get the benefits they’re entitled to. 

Phillip is going to continue to fight for our miners in the U.S. Senate. The first thing Phillip will do as your Senator is introduce legislation on behalf of my administration to ensure that claims for benefits under the Black Lung Benefits Act are processed in a fair and timely manner. His plan will streamline the black lung benefits process, reduce the backlog of benefits claims, restore lost cost-of-benefit increases, ensure cost-of-living increases are never withheld in the future, and help claimants secure legal representation. His plan will also improve miners’ access to medical evidence so that claims can be decided fairly in court, require full disclosure of medical information, prohibit unethical conduct by doctors and attorneys, and allow miners or their survivors to reopen previously denied cases.

As your Senator, Phillip will fight for coal miners and their families just like he has done his whole career. He is going to make it easier for miners and their families to get the benefits they deserve in a timely manner. He will be the People First Champion that Kentucky needs in this Senate seat.

Brian worked so hard in decreasing violent crime, that not only did Georgia see record decreasesin crime, particulary violent crime, but these crime-fighting measures were so effective they outpaced the nation. Brian is a results-oriented problem solver who will be an incredible representative of yours in Washington. Jon Ossoff has no real accomplishments in his 6 years, voting with Biden 97% of the time and voting against President Van Horn's measures which have secured the border, cut taxes while increasing minimum wage, and keeping our nation strong yet stable overseas. Under Governor Hobbs the southern border has been open she has refused to allow state law enforcement to do what is required at the state level to protect its citizens. It has allowed drugs to flow, human trafficking, gang members and while that has happened crime has risen up, with her policies and views law enforcement are told not to do their job or risk prosecution. 

But this will change Sheriff Lamb will bring in law and order and fight the criminals that are terrorizing this state by allowing law enforcement to do their jobs and to bring the fight to the coyotes, gangsters, and the illegal aliens. With the election of Sheriff Lamb this will happen.

National Talking Points

1. Existential problems require big and bold leadership: When President van Horn and Congressional Republicans proposed some of the largest reforms to housing American history that would help first-time home buyers, incentivize development, take on corporate excess, and create more tax incentives, Democrats whined and called it "not enough”, while they are proposing a plan so radical and out of touch that moderate Democrats in D.C. preferred the Republican plan! Democrats want regressive housing plans straight out of New York and Los Angeles for all of America, plans that will crush the suburbs and middle class. When Democrats whine, Republicans get to work for the American people.

2. Democrats want you to forget about the Summer of 2024, lawlessness in cities under Joe Biden (whether it be on college campuses or violent crime as a whole) and the worst border crisis in American history. While President Van Horn and Congressional Republicans got to work securing our border and revamping our border controls, fighting to pass the Thin Blue Line Act, getting E-Verify on the books and protecting our 2nd Amendment, Democrats willingly sold out the American people for the support of their coastal elite, mega-wealthy donors. People First means ushering in better safety and security for all Americans. 

3. The sun is rising, not setting, on America, and President Van Horn and the Republican Party believes in that. It is why the onus of this Administration has always been putting People First by securing our border, lowering taxes and gas prices, holding criminals and convicts to account and remaining true to our values. Roger Marshall was one of my top allies in the Senate for enacting the People First Agenda. He supported us every step of the way to get legislation passed that made the Trump tax cuts permanent, eliminated taxes on tips, expanded the Child Tax Credit and Earned Income Tax Credit, raised the minimum wage to $14 an hour, and broke up hospital monopolies to lower healthcare costs. 

The economic impact of the People First Agenda has been profound: Wage growth has increased from 2.5% to 7.5% on an annual basis with the average American household saving almost $4,000 a year from tax cuts, credits, and rebates. Meanwhile, prices on everything from gas to food are going down. 

Contrast that with Laura Kelly. I don’t care what people say about how moderate she is. What you need to understand is that when she leaves Kansas to go to Washington, she will become a puppet for people like HTK. Forget kitchen-table issues that matter here in Kansas – it’ll be six years of lawfare, obstruction and radicalism. She’ll support everything from the Democrats’ socialist take-over of middle-class suburbs to their 19-person panels. 

Roger, on the other hand, will continue to be a People First Champion. He will support the People First housing plan that will guarantee low mortgage rates for working families and prevent BlackRock from buying all the homes. Roger will work with me to make housing more affordable and accessible than ever before. I need him back in the Senate.

As a Governor, Brian Kemp was someone I could count on to help me enact the People First Agenda. Unlike other Governors who tried to fight against the E-Verify mandate, Governor Kemp faithfully cooperated with federal authorities to protect Georgia’s workers and families. As a result, Georgia got to enjoy the full benefits of the E-Verify mandate, including wage growth that increased from 2.5% to 7.5% on an annual basis. For the first time in a long time, workers are being paid fairly. 

As a Senator, Brian will continue to be a People First Champion. Brian will support the People First Housing Plan that will guarantee low mortgage rates for working families and prevent BlackRock from coming in at the last minute and taking that home you want. Housing will be more affordable than it has been in a long time. Brian will also help me make college more affordable by holding the schools and banks accountable for rising tuition and defaulted loans. 

But if Jon Ossoff wins again, it’ll be six more years of lawfare, obstruction and radicalism. Jon supports the Democrats’ radical housing plan – a federal takeover of middle-class suburbs like this one. Instead of enforcing our immigration laws like Brian does, Jon supports giving free college tuition to illegal immigrants. And Jon supported the 19-person panel that uncovered information we all learned in Government class: the President has the power to pardon someone. Guess we found out how many Democrats it takes to screw in a lightbulb.

I loved watching Gridiron Grant on Sundays, but I have a feeling we’re going to enjoy him even more as the next Governor of New York. Democrats have created some real problems here in New York. First, they sued me when I told corporations they needed to hire people who are legally authorized to work here. Then, they passed a California-style law basically making E-Verify illegal here. Because of their actions, New York is not getting the full benefits of the E-Verify mandate for families and workers. It’s become a sanctuary state for illegal aliens, flooding the state with low wages and criminal activity. 

That ends when Gridiron Grant enters the Governor’s mansion. Marcus will fully cooperate with federal authorities on all immigration matters. He’s going to drop the bogus lawsuit against my administration, and he’s going to work to unwind the damage done by Democrats. 

Ritchie Torres will just be more of the same. Regardless of whatever he promises you, understand that it won’t happen with him in charge. His focus as a Governor will be the same as it was for him in Congress – lawfare against my administration. It won’t be about making your life better – it’ll be about how many lawsuits he can file. Remember, this guy is one of the clowns who supported a 19-person panel to find out something we all learned in Government class: the President can pardon someone. Looks like we figured out how many Democrats it takes to change a lightbulb.

2026 Republican Campaign - Round Three
America First, People First, Results First

National Talking Points

1. President Van Horn and Congressional Republicans have worked tirelessly in this past session of Congress to deliver monumental reforms, even in the face of divided government. Contrary to Democratic theatrics and hysteria, Congress has passed major bipartisan reform for healthcare, permanent tax cuts for working families, higher wages, disaster resiliency, investment in a free and democratic Venezuela, support for our seafood industry, and much more. Republicans have delivered time and again in spite of the hyper-partisanship in Washington and delivered big.

2. President Van Horn and Republicans have offered a dynamic People First housing plan that goes to the root of the problem with our housing market. We will work to help first-time homebuyers with co-signing mortgages starting at 3%, to reduce monthly payments, tax credits for developers who prioritize affordable housing and increase supply, expanding the Housing Choice Voucher to assist renters nationwide, and take on corporate entities that are flooding the market. With a bipartisan rejection of the broken Democratic housing plan of 0-435 in the House, even Democrats agree that Republicans are leading on this issue with the seriousness it deserves.

3. Democrats have been hijacked by the most extreme elements of their party. It began when Rafael Coleman and Congressional Democrats blew up the deal on the bipartisan Defending American Energy Independence Act that would have secured energy independence and relief for consumers with concessions from both sides in order to cripple oil and gas with their moderates on board. Now they are blocking the Thin Blue Line Act to penalize killers of first responders, accountability at the UN for their treatment of Israel, support for veterans, and helping small businesses. Republicans are the only party with the real priorities of the American People in mind."
