Michael Madison is an American businessman and Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Missouri. He is the older brother of Missouri Representative Samuel W. Madison.

Madison is a wealthy businessman from the Kansas City metro; he currently owns several gun stores and ranges throughout the state, including several in the Kansas City and St. Louis metropolitan areas, as well as Springfield, Joplin, Cape Girardeau, St. Joseph, and Kirksville. His stores and ranges pride themselves on a wide selection of firearms available for sale (or rent at the ranges), as well as repair and modification services available to all customers at competitive rates. Madison started his business in 2005 in Independence, Missouri, before expanding it rapidly after 2011.

Madison has made a name for himself as a prominent Republican donor in Missouri, supporting conservative candidates and causes, especially on gun control, immigration, and other social issues.

With the latest election for U.S. Senate in Missouri rolling around, Madison announced his candidacy in his hometown in Lee's Summit. He is emphasizing his impressive business record and conservative values to win the Republican nomination and ultimately the general election.

Michael Madison is married to Katie Madison, an elementary school teacher. They have been together since 2003 and have been married since January of 2005. They have two twin sons, Michael Jr. (16) and Jonah (16), and three daughters: Grace (18), Harley (13), and Zoe (10). They currently live in Lee's Summit, a suburb of Kansas City, MO, and they attend St. Aidan's Anglican Church.

  FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Senator Vinachelli Stands Up For New Jersey Kids WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senator Vinachelli cast a deciding vote today to prevent a bill that would have robbed New Jersey children of federal resources for public schools across the state. The bill would have restricted federal funds from ‘any school’ that incorporates learning about racism as a social construct in its curriculum. Senator Vinachelli spoke on the floor about his opposition: ‘While I strongly support parent’s rights and believe we need to do more to keep parents informed and engaged in what is going on in their child’s classroom, this bill, as written, would unfairly penalize New Jersey kids by directing federal funds away from our state because of the decisions of former state leaders.’ Senator Vinachelli is concerned that state laws requiring New Jersey schools to highlight diversity, equity, and inclusion and offer Black History classes would put the state in violation of the federal law and lose out on even more federal dollars than the state already does. ‘New Jersey is one of the most diverse states in the nation and we are proud of that heritage,’ Vinachelli said. Senator Vinachelli pledged to work with parent’s rights groups to advocate for greater transparency and involvement for their kids in the classroom so long as it does not shortchange vital support for students enrolled in our K-12 system. ‘I cannot support making New Jersey children pay the price over state policy,’ Vinachelli said. ###
