Jace Ryder grew up on the outskirts of Seattle, where he spent his youth strumming a secondhand guitar in his parents’ garage, trying to drown out the sound of arguments echoing through thin walls. Coming from a working-class family that struggled to make ends meet, Jace was drawn to music as both an escape and an expression of everything he couldn't say out loud. Inspired by punk and grunge icons, he adopted a DIY approach, teaching himself to play, write, and produce.
After dropping out of high school, Jace took on a series of odd jobs to fund his passion for music. He would play gigs at seedy bars and underground venues, often performing for a handful of people in dim, smoke-filled rooms. As his reputation grew, so did his fanbase, drawn to his raw sound and emotionally charged performances. Jace's lyrics often touch on themes of rebellion, alienation, and the struggle for authenticity in a world he feels is increasingly shallow.
Known for his unpredictable and high-energy stage presence, Jace is the type who will leap off speakers, thrash his guitar, and leave everything on stage. But off-stage, he struggles to reconcile his need for freedom with a fear of losing control, sometimes drinking too much or pushing himself to extremes. Despite his chaotic lifestyle, Jace’s loyalty to his friends and bandmates is unwavering. In his quieter moments, he dreams of leaving a legacy, though he’s uncertain what form that will take. Jace embodies the spirit of punk rock, determined to live on his own terms—even if that path is as unpredictable as his music.
